Pep up your saree styles for each occasion

Saree is a dress that can highlight the beauty of an Indian woman, and is one of the most adaptable clothes. For every occasion, party or event, there is a saree. For instance, you can wear heavy silk and designer sarees with bright colours for weddings.
A sari, saree or shari is a South Asian female garment that consists of a drape varying from five to nine yards (4.57meters to 8.23 meters) in length and two to four feet (60 cm to 1.20 m) in breadth that is typically wrapped around the waist, with one end draped over the shoulder, baring the midriff.
The sari is usually worn over a petticoat (called 'parkar' (परकर) in Marathi lahaṅgā or lehenga in the north; pavadai in Tamil, pavada (or occasionally langa).
Below, we have provide some tips on how to choose a saree for any special occasion and event.
For Day Time Event:
Sarees that are perfect for daytime events, have two important points, First, must be a cotton saree and second, must be light in color. You need to avoid dark colors; such as red, blue, etc., otherwise you will be looked overdressed. You must pinup your saree in office because it will be more comfortable and manageable for you. You can choose a light color like light peach, blue, pink, green, cream, and white sarees along with light embroidery work and print appropriate for the office. However, if you are going to a business meeting, then you can wear minimalistic and plain saree. You can choose cotton, raw silk or chiffon sarees with light color.

Remember, you should iron cotton saree or any other that have to starch. Pleats need to be perfectly tucked for a beautiful look. Indian sarees are popular internationally, and women across the world are enthralled by their attractiveness and make them an important part of their wardrobe.

On festivals like Holi, Diwali, you can go for designer net or silksarees that are available online. They can be fairly heavy and you can wear matching jewellery with them. Silk Sarees like Banarasi and South Indian Silk Sarees are also great choice to wear during festivals as they proved they give a traditional look.

KID’S BIRTHDAY CAKE

This is a fool-proof recipe. We have used this to make all sorts of birthday cakes over the years: trains, castles, jungles, ponds, harry potter worlds, various football clubs emblems, t-shirts, cakes with candy and sugared pictures...you name it.  You can either decorate the cake with butter cream and royal icing of various colors  or cut it into different shapes and glue them with butter cream. It is a tough yet not too heavy cake so it stands all sorts of icing (when we did a jungle we used 500 g of green royal icing and it did not collapse even a tiny bit)

You need:
325 g self raising flour
150 g plain flour
325 gr sugar
325 gr soft butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla essence
5 eggs

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees.  Mix the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until it becomes pale yellow. Separately mix the flour (sieve them if you are not going to use a lot of icing; also, if you are going to cut the cake into shapes then don't bother with the shifting) Add one egg, then one table spoon of flour, then another egg and so on until you use all the eggs. Add the vanilla essence and then add the rest of the flour by folding it into the butter mixture. Bake for 50 minutes (we have done this in all sorts of tins and frankly it always comes out well).

Tribute to Father

"Honor your father and mother.” This is the first of the Ten Commandments that ends with a promise. And this is the promise: If you honor your father and mother, "you will live a long life, full of blessing.” And now a word to you fathers. Don't make your children angry by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction approved by the Lord.

Fathers are the biggest source of strength for a child. The innocent eyes of a child perceive father as the all-powerful, most knowledge, truly affectionate and the most important person in the family. For daughters, fathers are the first men they adore and fall in love with. While for sons their fathers are the strongest person they know and someone they aspire to emulate. Even for the grownups fathers are someone whom they look up to for the most experienced and honest advice that is always in the best of our interest. For this great figure in our life that we know as father - it becomes our utmost duty to pay our humblest tribute on the occasion of Father's Day.

Say Thanks to Dad on Father's Day
Children blessed with a loving father should consider themselves fortunate. For, they have someone to take care of their needs and interests. Someone to stop them when they are diverting to a wrong path and guide them on a road to success and virtue. For many of us fathers have always been there to solve our innumerous mathematics and science problems and explain the same formula hundredth time or better still until it is understood by us. Fathers would never ever give a smallest of hint to let us know how hard they work to take care of our needs and fulfill even the most whimsical of demands... For all their adorable scolding and affectionate punishments we all owe a big thanks to our Dads.

Apologize to Dad on Father's Day
Father's Day also brings with it the wonderful opportunity to apologize for all our rude and insensitive behavior. We as children often take the love and affection of our parents for granted and treat them with outright contempt. We need to apologize. We must feel great to have the presence of loving father in our lives and do not disrespect the blessing of God on us. On Father's Day we must says “Sorry” to our Dad and seek their forgiveness for our wrong behavior.

Celebrate Father's Day with Dad

We must make all efforts to celebrate Father's Day with our Dad. Children staying away from father must especially strive to spend the day with father and show gratitude for all their support and love. We must pamper father by spending the day in a manner he likes most. It could be going out for a picnic or indulging him with a gourmet meal. We can also express love with thoughtful gifts accompanied by a bouquet of his favorite flowers. The idea is to show our affection and tell Daddy how much he is loved and appreciated not just on Father's Day but every single day of our lives.

How to Celebrate Father's Day

Father's Day is a celebration honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. Many countries celebrate it on the third Sunday of June, though it is also celebrated widely on other days by many other countries.

1. Help your dad to celebrate the day.
Perhaps you'll let him sleep in this morning, or perhaps you won't harry him over something you'd normally harry him over. Whatever it is, let it be his day. Some nice ways to start it include:
     A)   Making him breakfast in bed
     B)   Bringing him the newspaper to read in bed
     C)   Baking his favorite kind of cake.

2. Make it a family occasion.
Father's Day is by nature a family occasions. Use this opportunity to get everyone in the family together for a fun day. Think about including all the dads in your family, not just your own father. Could your celebration include husbands, likely future dads, your uncles, and brothers? If so, do it—the more the merrier! And don't forget step-fathers—they're important too. You don't have to remain at home; you could go to the beach, a local park, a favorite spot of dad's!

3. Be creative.
When it comes to making gifts for Father's Day, perhaps clear of the traditional store-bought materials of shirts and dhotis. He's probably still got last year's shirts stuffed at the back of the drawer. Expensive or typical gifts are not necessary, but the time and effort you put in to create a personalized compliment, will be deeply appreciated. Instead, let your own creative abilities shine and make him something special:
      1.      Prepare the sweets
      2.      Make his favorite lunch
      3.      Make a gift basket and fill it with homemade chocolates and flowers.

4. Celebrate your shared experiences.
Look at old photos of your dad and you doing exciting things together. Take a walk down memory lane by creating either a photo album. You may be shocked at how many things you both have over and done about and how much they mean to you.
Especially if he doesn't talk much about his life, consider recording his voice or taking notes as you talk about old times or old photographs. Write a letter and memories part of the family history.

5. Make the day happy.
The most important part of the day is that you are present and attentive. It does not provide a material to make a dad happy—it takes showing your love, and encouraging your dad that you're proud of him and all he's done for you. For many fathers, the most rewarding part of being a father is feeling that your children love you, and the facts that each child is on a path to a successful future, no matter what age, and is coping well with the problems that life certainly throws at us all.

6. End his "fun-filled day" by telling your father you love him.
Don't forget his hug and kiss!
