WEDDING CAKES

The wedding season this time around had been exciting with many interesting designs made, and each one unique in its own way.

While designing wedding cakes a lot is taken into consideration, from the preferred color palette to the wedding decor. While some do come by for cake consultation, we have a standard procedure for wedding cake consultation, where in the cake design is sketched and sent for approval. Wedding cake design is very customer specific, whether they would want an “Indian Wedding cake” or contemporary and modern.

Wedding cake trends are ever evolving and we are glad that cakes have become an important part of these ceremonies, that renew their special day.

We specialize in sugar flowers, wafer paper flowers and designs, as well as sugar cake toppers of the bride and groom. Here is some of the wedding cake this wedding season by us, and it is important to note, how each of them are unique and very client specific.

A lot of these are also engagement and pre wedding cakes, while there are also cakes made especially for bridal shower and Mehendi functions!

Cakes  for Tambulam:

A very special Tambulam cake, made to design specifications provided by the bride and the groom. This cake is possible to deliver all over India.

Moroccan Inspired Wedding cake in Teal and gold

A gorgeous Pre wedding cake made for the Sangeet function of a beautiful couple. Specifications were “Indian colors”, bold, deep teal and of course gold!

Among the flowers are sugar paste gardenias, phalaenopsis orchid, open peonies, rose and foliage, against a gorgeous backdrop of subtle peach and gold tier, pearl white tiers with edible sugar lace and sugar pearl studs to adorn the simplistic top tier.

Loved working on this one! And almost ran out of time to get this done and delivered in the wee hours this morning, sorry about the not so great backdrop!

2 tier wedding cake with edible Sugarlace and Fantasy flowers

A perfect wedding cake for Shourya. The absolutely adorable couple in their wedding dress (all handmade in sugarpaste) blowing kisses…… on a super dainty 2 tiered wedding cake, studded with sugarpaste fantasy 5 petal flowers, and the top tier with edible sugarlace in gold. Gold is the color of this wedding season, and peach is Shourya’s favorite.

Wafer blooms and pristine white ruffles for a couple in Love.!

Yet another Engagement cake, where I was given free rein, but with a HUGE time constraint, to brainstorm the design overnight and come up with something subtle but fun.

The subtle ruffles in white, with a hint of deep red, and of course the rustic antique gold splashed on the top tier , and a sugar silhouette of them, just like how the bride to be wanted.

Our Client ( the groom) designed his own wedding cake, from a mix of a bunch of our previous wedding cakes! How cool is that!

The color palate and everything else was decided by the client. Wish them a joyous life together!
